TTouch Workshop for Canine Professionals

Pet Education and Training is pleased to be hosting a one day workshop with Tellington Touch instructor and practitioner Janet Finlay.

Tellington TTouch Training®, or TTouch, is a positive, animal-friendly approach to training and calming animals. Emotional and mental balance are inextricably linked and it is therefore possible to influence emotional responses and behaviour by relieving tension in the body. TTouch uses a combination of specific touches, tools and leading exercises to increase confidence, self-awareness, mental and physical balance.

This hands-on workshop is primarily aimed at trainers, groomers, vets, vet nurses, dog walkers and petsitters, focusing on how TTouch can help with handling dogs, how to cope in stressful situations, enabling them to learn more effectively.

The day will start at 10am till 4pm. The fee is £80 (which must be paid in advance) and includes a PDF of the course notes (which will be distributed via email before the course).

All tea, coffee and soft drinks are included. There is a shop nearby but it is recommended that you bring a packed lunch with you.

About the Tutor: Dr Janet Finlay is a TTouch practitioner, Instructor and a member of the UK Association of Pet Dog Trainers (01046). She specialises in working with anxious & reactive dogs through her Canine Confidence Academy
